Män som hatar kvinnor [Stieg Lasrsson]

About:
The story is an interesting web of inter twined stories but the main story is about a journalist (Michael Blomkvist) who is, after having gone through a jail sentence, officially hired to write the family story about a powerful family. He is hired by the old head of the family and he has another motive for hiring him. He gets help from a young women (Lisbeth Salander) who has gone trough a lot and is considered psychopathic and sick. But she is also a genius as a researcher and hacker.
The story deals with multiple storylines presenting both Michael and Lisbeth and a main story with lots of twists and bends that keeps you guessing until the end.

One of the best books I have ever read. I freakin' love it. Characters are unforgettable and so new, not anything like in other books. I highly recommend this book.

Where the Wild Things Are [2009]

Inside all of us is... hope. Inside all of us is... fear. Inside all of us is... adventure. Inside all of us is a wild thing.

Genre: Adventure, Drama, Family, Fantasy

Rating: 7.0/10

About:
An adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world--a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.

Frankly, this is awful. I don't know why is rating so high and maybe (or sure) there are some people who think this is very good. WHY? Little boy runs away from home and he finds some creatures who just fight and destroy stuff. I don't see anything worth watching and I don't think it's appropriate for kids.

Director:

Spike Jonze

Writers:

Spike Jonze (screenplay), Dave Eggers (screenplay), Maurice Sendak (book)

Stars:

Max Records (Max), Catherine O'Hara (Judith (voice)) and Forest Whitaker (Ira (voice))
