Free Style [2008]

It's Time To Soar.

Genre: Drama

About:
Cale, is determined to win a coveted spot on the Grand National racing team without compromising his devotion to his friends and family

First, Corbin is really good actor. Second, movie is great. But, as someone already said, Why call the Movie "Free style" when it's about Motocross? But, anyways, movie is encouraging. I love how Cale had to fight for what he have. I'm willing to forgive moviemakers for "freestyle/motocross" thing because I learned from this movie "about having the strength and determination to see life just as it is, with all its ups and downs; having the courage to face the past and let go".

Director:

William Dear

Writers:

Jeffrey Nicholson, Joshua Leibner

Stars:

Corbin Bleu (Cale Bryant), Sandra Echeverría  (Alex Lopez) and Madison Pettis (Bailey Bryant)

Tempted - A House of Night Novel (P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast)

About:
So…you’d think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark’s life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break. Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang. Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions. Speaking of stress, the dark force lurking in the tunnels under the Tulsa Depot is spreading, and Zoey is beginning to believe Stevie Rae could be responsible for a lot more than a group of misfit red fledglings. Aphrodite’s visions warn Zoey to stay away from Kalona and his dark allure, but they also show that it is Zoey who has the power to stop the evil immortal. Soon it becomes obvious that Zoey has no choice: if she doesn’t go to Kalona he will exact a fiery vengeance on those closest to her. Will Zoey have the courage to chance losing her life, her heart, and her soul? Find out in the next spectacular installment in the House of Night series, TEMPTED.

I love HoN, but how far the story is going, books are worse. I think it's because writers are trying to make a lot of books. Too much books. Well, they are sellining, that's for sure. But in the whole book, they are describing maybe a few days of Zoey's life. But whole story, in general, is great.

Characters: Zoey, Stark, Aphrodite, Stevie Rae, Kalona...

The Old Man and the Sea (Ernest Hemingway) [1952]

Genre: Tragedy, Novella

About:
An epic battle between an old, experienced fisherman and a giant fish, later, when he catches it, he has to fight with sharks. In the end, the fish is eaten.

It's a good book, but nothing special. Now I feel like that dumbass people who don't appreciate art, but the book is strenuous. Not enough happenings, yet too many unnecessarily description.

Characters: Old man Santiago, Manolino
